St Patrick’s Day

With St. Patrick’s Day just around the corner the whole world is getting ready to celebrate Irish style. March 17th is a highly anticipated holiday, not just in Ireland but worldwide. There are a lot of Irish ex-pats that will be celebrating globally too.

Do you have friends and family living abroad who will be painting the town green with pride?

This is a busy time for us, sending Irish gifts and products around the world so Irish ex-pats can share some traditional Irish charm with the locals… Shame we can’t ship Guinness!!

If you are planning on shipping a parcel to a loved one celebrating abroad please be sure to do it as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

To celebrate being Irish we would like to give you a 10% Discount when you use discount code PADDYSDAY. Valid until 17th March.

If you are sending St Patrick’s Day/ Irish themed accessories be sure to check out Penneys, Carrolls Irish Gifts, Dealz & Euro Giant for a great range off stuff.

How will you be celebrating this year? There are celebrations taking place all over the world but there is no where we would rather celebrate than on Irish soil!

If you are looking for a great way to celebrate in Dublin here are some of the best events happening:

  • The Parade will kick of at 12.00pm from Parnell Square, working its way down O’Connell St, past Trinity College at College Green and on to Dame Street before it finishes at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. They city will fill up fast so get in early to get a good viewing spot.
  • What better way to celebrate all things Irish than  a Beer & Whiskey Festival! Head to the RDS for good beer, cider, whiskey, food and of course live entertainment.
  • The Odeon are hosting a big St Patrick’s Day brunch and it is set to be Dublin’s biggest brunch party. Ticket-holders will be greeted with a morning cocktail on arrival, followed by canapés and appetizers to get everyone in the right mood.
  • Temple Bar! There will be all kinds of fun happening in Temple Bar, not only on St Patrick’s Day but in the days building up to it.

Don’t forget the dress code – green, green & more green!

We couldn’t help taking a look into what celebrations were happening worldwide, and were blown away by how many parades are taking place on March 17th. Take a look for yourself… which one will you be enjoying?!
